Police closed traffic on Highway 90 between the Lower Rachel Junction and Rimonim Hotel Junction in Tiberias on Tuesday morning because of a public celebration by the Karlin hasidic sect in memory of the Karliner Rebbe.
An estimated thousand people were at the scene of the observance, which was expected to last into the afternoon.
