Maj. Gen. Elezar Stern has come out strongly against the government’s deal with Hamas to exchange imprisoned terrorists for captured IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. Stern also called Shalit “Ron Arad II” referring to Israeli Air Force fighter pilot and weapons systems officer Ron Arad missing in action since October 1986.
