Charms and wonders will be featured at the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem during Chanukah. They include, "Assignment in Greece," a detective-like search for a lost cruse of oil in the museums galleries that includes actors in outfits from ancient times showing the process of making olive oil at the time of the Maccabees. A special noontime show will feature other characters performing wonders.
Museum exhibits will include Chanukah candelabra (Chanukiyot) in an entertaining variety of shapes, made out of surprising materials. The museum will also hold workshops for creating candles and chanukiyot based on the exhibit, among other things, and distribute a comic book based on biblical themes.
