A report in a Saudi paper Thursday said that Israel had informed German negotiators that it is not willing to release arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti as part of a deal to free kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit. According to the report, there are 15 terrorists that Hamas is demanding that Israel is unwilling to release.
Earlier, a report in the Arab media said that Shlalit had already been moved to Egypt, and was personally accompanied by top Hamas terrorist Mahmoud a-Zahar. Shalit was moved, according to the report, as a "confidence-building measure."
