Finance Committee Chairman, MK Moshe Gafni of the United Torah Judaism party, said that he will convene an urgent meeting this week of the Knesset’s Finance Committee to discuss the government’s decision to freeze Jewish construction in Yesha for ten months.
The Haredi religious public will be significantly affected by the freeze as it badly needs the low income housing being built in Yesha.
