Police Arrest Six Yesha Residents in Clashes

Judea and Samaria police reported that they arrested six residents on Wednesday following clashes between troops, civil administration inspectors and residents throughout Judea and Samaria. Of the six four were jailed.

The head of the Beit Aryeh Regional Council was arrested for "disturbing police duty" and was summoned for questioning later. Two suspects were arrested at the Hatam Junction in Samaria for allegedly throwing stones at security forces. The two were jailed and will be brought before the Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

Two other suspects were arrested at Yitzhar for allegedly throwing stones at security forces. One of the suspects was released and the other imprisoned. Another person was arrested at the town of Avni Hefetz for allegedly attacking police officers.
