Policemen Wounded By Arabs Protecting Illegal Building

Two police officers were lightly wounded on Wednesday while assisting in the demolition of two illegal building sites in the northern Arab community of Taybeh-Zouabi. Several young people, apparently community residents, and the owners of the buildings attempted to prevent the demolition. Two people attempted to break through a ring of police officers securing the bulldozers by riding scooters straight through them, lightly wounding two policemen in the process. The illegal building sites were in an unfinished state and were as yet not occupied.
