Basketball executive Irmi Olmert (brother of former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert ) knocked a sports reporter unconscious Tuesday night. Olmert was apparently upset over on-air comments made by a reporter for the Channel 5 sports network. Olmert confronted him after a second division game and allegedly punched him in the face, briefly knocking him unconscious.

Sport 5 footage of the incident shows the two arguing, followed by a loud thump and then the reporter lying motionless on the basketball court. Police questioned Olmert and the reporter was hospitalized and released.
