Seventeen Arab security prisoners from eastern Jerusalem will be released in a deal for the release of abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, according to a Tuesday report by the London-based Arabic daily Al-Hayat. The newspaper says 10 of them will be deported.
Hamas claims that the exchange is being held up over 50 prisoners that Israel refuses to release.
