In an interview with Arutz Sheva, Disaspora Minister Yuli Edelstein did not hide his disappointment at the cabinet's decision supporting a Jewish construction freeze for 10 months in Judea and Samaria and said the move “will not bring us closer to peace”.
In spite of his position, Edelstein said the best reaction was not to abandon the Likud but rather to “limit the damage” and, following the freeze, to start a large building campaign.
