Journalist: Ministers Waited to Speak Out

Leading Israeli journalist Dan Margalit criticized Likud ministers for being two-faced in their opposition to the building freeze in Judea and Samaria. Ministers Limor Livnat, Moshe Kahalon, Yuli Edelstein, Silvan Shalom and Gilad Erdan waited until after the security cabinet voted in favor of the deal before voicing their opposition to the freeze, he wrote in the Monday’s Yisrael Hayom newspaper.

“They thereby didn’t take any risks. And in order to avoid raising Netanyahu’s anger, they blamed the move on Defense Minister Ehud Barak.”
