Member of Knesset Otniel Schneller (Kadima) said Sunday night that the Israel Defense Forces should act immediately against soldiers wearing shirts imprinted with messages against the expulsion of Jews from communities in Judea and Samaria. Responding to a report by Channel 2 television, the reserves general from the Samarian Jewish community of Michmash said those soldiers should court-martialed and removed from combat and command positions.
Schneller said, "We, as [representatives of] religious Zionism, must renounce this occurence and adhere to the sanctity of the state and its decisions." He added, "Through their actions, they harm most IDF soldiers, who see their IDF service without objections as a value and a mission."
