At a meeting of Likud Mks and activists Saturday night, MK Danny Danon said that he would on Sunday file a request with Likud officials demanding a meeting of the party's Central Committee to discuss the building freeze in Judea and Samaria. Danon says he has enough signatures on the petition to authorize the meeting.
Danon said that U.S. President Barack Obama had lost his status as an "honest broker" in the Middle East conflict. "Netanyahu must tell Obama that he does not intend to fold. With this petition we are today beginning the effort to halt the difficult edicts that have been imposed," Danon said.
