(IsraelNN.com) Notices and flyers distributed in the hareidi-religious neighborhoods of Jerusalem are calling on the residents to prepare to protest this Shabbat against work being carried out at the city's Intel computer-chip factory. About 600 members of the community protested the desecration of the Jewish day of rest last week.

Since then Intel representatives have been in contact with the Rabbinical Council for the Sanctity of the Sabbath but with no word on agreeement, it is not known if the community will show up for the demonstrations without a verbal call from the rabbis, which has not been forthcoming. Police will be out in force.
