(IsraelNN.com) Southern Florida attorney Scott Rothstein’s alleged Ponzi scheme has led to his family name being removed from “The Rothstein Family Downtown Jewish Center Chabad'’ in Fort Lauderdale, according to Yeshiva World News. Rothstein has not been charged with a crime, although he faces a host of civil lawsuits and he has been disbarred. His law firm has been virtually dismantled,

Chabad is one of a number of area charities being asked to return money Rothstein donated directly, as well as donations that may have come from the proceeds of defrauded people. Another was the Jewish Federation of Broward County.
