U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell, said that the cabinet decision to freeze Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria for 10 months is a “positive” move.
"Although the move does not meet the American demand for a complete halt of construction in Judea and Samaria, it is a positive and significant step that could bring Israel and the Palestinians back to the negotiating table," said Mitchell.
