Criticizing Likud members over government's apparent willingness to release nearly a thousand terrorists in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, and its plan to voluntarily freeze building in Judea and Samaria for ten months, MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) said that this was not what he had expected when the Likud took over the reins of government from Kadima.
Eldad said that he had read of both developments in the newspaper. "I ask you, is this what we elected Bibi (Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu) for," Eldad asked Mks rhetorically during a Knesset speech Tuesday.
