In an interview with Arutz 7, MK Danny Danon (Likud) said that reports that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had agreed to halt all building in Judea and Samaria for ten months had angered many members of his party. He said that was waiting to hear Netanyahu himself say that this was the case before passing judgement.

"I am shocked, and I hope it isn't true," Danon said. "But a building freeze is already in place; for three months there has been no building at all, not even in Jerusalem. We will not allow this freeze, which was instituted in order to arrange a meeting with Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas, to continue. The Likud was not elected to hurt residents of Judea and Samaria. We will not agree to be the 'subcontractors' for Labor and Kadima," he said.
