Defense Minister Ehud Barak has appointed Brigadier General Michel Ben-Baruch as his new military secretary and advisor. Barak made the appointment after consulting with IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi.
Ben-Baruch will begin work soon, replacing Eitan Dangott, who currently holds the position. Dongett has been military secretary in the Defense Minister's office for the past five years. Dangott, also a Brigadier General, is set to be promoted to a full general and appointed to the post of government policy coordinator in Judea and Samaria.
