Kara Vows Fight against Abandoning Ghajar to Nasrallah

Ayoub Kara, the Deputy Minister for the Development of the Galilee and the Negev, said Monday that he would fight until his last drop of blood to prevent the ceding of the northern part of the village of Ghajar on the Lebanese border. Interviewed on Arutz Sheva's Hebrew news journal, he said, "We are abandoning the area to [Hizbullah terrorist leader Hassan] Nasrallah."

Kara said for the moment, he plans to ask Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for clarifications on the matter. During the Likud's Knesset-faction meeting he noted that the cabinet had not taken into account that the village is included in Israel's Golan Law, and cabinet actions to cede Ghajar contradict that law. Netanyahu and Deputy Premier Dan Meridor promised to give the matter urgent attention.
