Chairman, MK Yaakov Katz of the National Union party called on the authorities Monday to publish the conclusions of the committee which has been tasked with recommending a new approach to terror prisoner swaps. The committee, known as the “new Shamgar Committee,”  is scheduled to release its report within weeks.

Speaking at a news conference called by the party, Ketzaleh also called upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to publicly reveal his opinion on the subject and dispel the fog surrounding his position. “If Netanyahu decided to change his mind, not to listen to the Shamgar committee's conclusions, Netanyahu should be a man and come out and say 'I changed my mind, I am untrue to my path...”
