The United States dollar declined in value .262 percent against the shekel in the first day of official rate fixing this week by the Bank of Israel. The new rate is NIS 3.801.

The Euro rose .292 percent to 5.6931 shekels, while the pound sterling was fixed at NIS 6.3207, up .063 percent.
