Employees of the Yarkonim compound will pray at the Kotel on Monday, to plead for their jobs. On January 1st the compound is expected to close and, as a result, some 3500 employees will be laid off.

The reason for the closure is that the compound is located in an area slated for agricultural use and not for leisure and commercial business.
