(IsraelNN.com) More than 30 rabbis and students from the Shilo High School and Hesder Yeshiva visited the northern Samaria Jewish community of Homesh on Sunday for a day of Torah learning, together with the Homesh First organization's Renewed Homesh Yeshiva in the ruins of the community, which was uprooted by Israel as part of the Disengagement of 2005. Despite the arrival of army and Border Guard troops to remove them, the day finished with a festive spirit and joyful dancing.

Yossi Dagan of Homesh First said, "Today, when the damage of the expulsion and the extent of the mistake is clear to all, and the entire area of the communities that were uprooted is still under the complete control of the State of Israel, it is clear that the mistake has to be corrected and [we] must return to Homesh and Sa-Nur."
