(IsraelNN.com) The Shomron (Samaria) and Binyamin Regional Councils are teaming up with the National Traffic Safety Authority for a campaign to reduce accidents in the two regions through adherence to the law forbidding passing on highways where the two directions of traffic are separated by a solid white line. The slogan for the campaign is, "A white line is a red line. Don't cross a solid white line."

More than half of the fatal accidents in Judea and Samaria are caused by vehicles leaving their lanes. While Arab drivers in the area are notorious for overtaking where there is a solid line, there are also Jewish motorists who engage in the practice. They will get the message not to do so through billboards and messages on buses.
