Ashkenazi: Leave IDF Out of Politics

(IsraelNN.com) IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi said Sunday that “it is not possible to hold together an army of soldiers who do not obey commanders' orders. I propose that the IDF be taken out of the political controversy.”
Ashkenazi was referring to recent protests by combat soldiers against the use of the IDF for razing Jewish outposts.
