Six women were murdered by their intimate partners in 2009, compared with 11 such cases in 2008, Minister for Internal Security Yitzchak Aharonovich told the government Sunday.
He also said that in 2009, 15,069 police files were opened for violence between intimate partners, compared with 19,703 in 2008.
