Private tourism will take a leap into space next month with the unveiling of the SpaceShip2 spacecraft in the Mojave Desert in California.

A tour of space in the new spaceplane will "only" cost a cool $200,000 per ticket, with a 50 percent deposit required in advance to reserve the seat.
