The Israel Police denied Sunday the recent reports in Haaretz newspaper as if MK David Rotem (Yisrael Beiteinu) is suspected in a case involving forgery of land purchases in Judea and Samaria.

"MK David Rotem was not investigated, not as a witness and certainly not as a suspect, and there is no intention of investigating him as such in these cases,” the police stated.

MK Rotem is Chairman of the Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee.
