Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal said that another “intifadah” in Judea and Samaria is not a practical option at this time because “it requires certain circumstances on the ground which do not exist at present.”
He spoke at a conference of Arab parties in Damascus.
As for the idea of a temporary “Palestinian” state, Mashaal said that the only temporary borders he would find acceptable are the pre-1967 borders.
