The Ministerial Committee for Legislation will discuss Sunday a bill by MK Alex Miller (Israel Our Home) to forbid the employment of intermediate and secondary school students during school hours.

The proposed law would make it mandatory for employers to free schoolchildren to attend school during school hours without subtracting from their pay. The law currently forbids employing schoolchildren in elementary school during school hours, but not children in intermediate and secondary schools.
