Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar and Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan presented certificates to 92 schools on Thursday for their efforts in the field of environment-conscious operations. They bring the total in Israel to 232, with 274 kindergartens so certified.

The schools were cited for reducing their water, electricity and paper consumption, as well as recycling paper, bottles, batteries and other refuse.
