Justice Minister Ya'akove Ne'eman and President Dorit Beinisch of the Supreme Court met Thursday at the Tel Aviv court building with lower court presidents and judges. In remarks about making the courts more efficient, Justice Beinisch said that the conditions for striking court typists must be improved, taking into consideration the pressure under which they work.

Histadrut Labor Federation chief Ofer Eini welcomed Beinisch's support for the typists, adding, "I hope very much that Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz will understand quickly what the president of the high court agreed to understand right away."
