The State Prosecutor's Office announced Thursday evening that it was legal for three children of a Jerusalem woman charged with starving her son to leave the country. The woman has given birth to a sixth child as she awaits trial in connection with the starving charges.
In a written statement, the prosecutors said, "The prosecution welcomes the separation of the children from their mother and feels the action is for their benefit." The letter notes that supervisors did not inform the court of the action as they were supposed to, and requested to impose more restrictions on the mother.
