(IsraelNN.com) The public-professional committee charged with presenting candidates for the next attorney general finished its work Thursday evening and informed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Ya'akov Ne'eman that not one candidate received the support of four of the five committee members.

In a letter to the two ministers, the committee said that attorneys Tzvi Agmon and Yehuda Weinstein and  Professors Dafna Barak-Erez and Yedidia Stern each received three votes. A proposal that the committee decide on a lineup of three of the candidates also did not have the four votes required for acceptance. The panel expressed its regrets.
