Itai Zar, the owner of the Samarian Jewish outpost community of Chavat Gilad, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of attacking police officers after a verbal altercation with a Border Police officer. Arutz Sheva was told that a confrontation ensued after Border Police and Civilian Administration forces arrived at Chavat Gilad to try and dismantle an illegal electricity infrastructure that had been placed there.



Chavat Gilad is named for Itai's brother, who was murdered by terrorists.
