Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai says that if necessary, the IDF will do without the soldiers of the Hesder yeshivot, rather than put up with refusal of orders to expel Jews from their homes.

IDF soldiers must not have opposing sources of authority, Vinai told Voice of Israel government radio, saying that the phenomenon of refusal of orders needs to be "mapped out" in the IDF's various units before the military decides what to do about it.
