The Hamas terrorist organization that controls the Gaza region announced Thursday morning in an interview with the Al Hayat newspaper that it will not agree to any deal that sets temporary or tentative borders for a new Palestinian state.
The Lebanon-based Hamas representative, Osama Hamdan, considered close to Hamas politburo chief Khaled Mashaal, told the newspaper in an interview that the terrorist group would never agree to formal recognition of the State of Israel, nor would it agree to a PA entity with provisional borders, since this is considered "further validation of the occupation of Palestinian land." He added that the Hamas movement bases its principles in the birth of a PA state through "struggle" and not through failed arrangements.
