A deal between Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Minister of Finance Yuval Steinitz, and Chairman of the Histadrut Labor Union Ofer Eini, was reached Wednesday evening preventing a crisis at Israel Military Industries (IMI).

Under the agreement IMI will receive NIS 60 million to pay the salaries of October, and will begin intensive negotiations which will take two months to formulate a way to privatize the company.
