The IDF's Chief Rabbi has threatened a libel suit against the leftwing Haaretz newspaper if it will not publish an apology following the publication of an article claiming the rabbi said that religious warriors are better fighters than the non-religious. The article was written by Anshel Pepper.
Haaretz has so far refused to respond to the suit.
