The Hizbullah terrorist organization’s political arm has rejected Lebanese coalition government proposals that it agree to a “commitment” to United Nations resolutions. Instead, Hizbullah said it would agree only to “respect” them.

Hizbullah’s refusal, along with objections to how the government wants to make decisions about war and peace, threaten to break up the coalition before it even gets off the ground.
