Media Misrepresent Israel as Corrupt

This week’s reports in Israel’s mainstream media showing the country to be “only” the 33rd least corrupt nation in the world have ignored other rankings that show that the Jewish State is far better off than its Arab neighbors. Meanwhile an article on the English Haaretz newspaper website, mistakenly lablelled Israel the 33rd "most" corrupt nation.

Jordan was ranked number 49 in the world, while Egypt was place in the 111th spot. Syria was even worse off, reaching only the 126th place. Israel was tied with Spain but was below Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. New Zealand won the first place ranking.
