Defense Minister Ehud Barak met with them representatives of IDF widows in his office in the Knesset on Wednesday.

Following the meeting, he told his colleagues in the Labor party to support a bill that allows IDF widows to continue to receive pensions from the Defense Ministry even after they remarry. The bill was proposed by National Union MK Uri Ariel.
