Germany has charged an unnamed 90-year-old from Nazi SS member with murdering 58 Jews in the Holocaust after he was caught by a student using a phone book. The suspect was identified only as being a resident of the western German city of Duisburg and was accused of murdering Jewish laborers in eastern Austria towards the end of World War II.

He was apprehended after a student at the University of Vienna, who was investigating the massacre, tracked down the former Nazi by using a German telephone directory after discovering his name in connection with a trial in 1946.
