Apartment prices rose in the third quarter by an average of 3.6%, the Housing Ministry said Tuesday. The survey shows that the the price of four room apartments rose 10% in the Tel Aviv area, 6% in Beersheva, 4% in Petach Tikvah and Modiin, and 1% in Jerusalem.
The information released by the Ministry somewhat contradicts figures supplied by contractors last week, which showed much higher price rises in Jerusalem and more moderate increases in Petach Tikvah and Modiin.
