At the Labor faction meeting on Monday, Labor Party Chairman Ehud Barak addressed the claims by the PA that it may unilaterally declare a Palestinian state, saying that it would reduce the chances for peace.  

"He who declares this takes on other risks, too. I suggest that the Palestinians consider twice before they go in this direction.”
