More than 800 tickets were handed out Sunday by the Israeli police to motorcyclists who were demonstrating on the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. Police said the bikers were demonstrating illegally,  and stressed that they intend to act harshly against anyone who tries to block roads and even arrest drivers if necessary.

The motorcyclists are protesting a hike in insurance costs.
