The Finance Ministry announced Sunday afternoon that it will set aside 12 million shekels to finance the Aharonovich plan to fight alcohol abuse.
The overall budget is NIS 27 million. Four million will be used immediately to kick off the campaign, half of which will come from the treasury, with the rest split between the ministries involved in the program. Eight million shekels will be put aside to carry out the program in 2010.
