The Lod Community Foundation has successfully included the city in the World Monument Fund's list of World Heritage Sites. Following this announcement, the Foundation decided to host a festive event to promote the development of Lod.
Philanthropists from Israel and abroad, leading businesspeople, religious leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, ministers in the Israeli government and representatives of the Jewish and Arab communities in Lod are all expected to take part in the event, which will be announced shortly.
