Speaking at at the Jewish Federation of North America's annual general assembly Tuesday, Kadima head Tsipi Livni said that "the vision of two states for two peoples does not stand alone. It is accompanied by understandings that must be strengthened – especially the understanding that Israel and the United States have a unique and strong relationship.
"A strong United States strengthens Israel," Livni said. "It is important to Israel that the United States remain strong."
